Adventures in London ~ Sorry, this entry today in English ~ Will Be
Well, I'll try to summarize some of my adventures in London.
Day 1: departure and arrival at the hostel
left the airport of El Prat almost an hour late (thanks easyjet ¬ ¬). Nice flight where I left my travel companions sleep T_T (I had not slept much the night before ...). After 1 hour and peak we though was a bit odd that landed in the clouds. It had come to nothing a mist seemed that we were still in the clouds XD And cold it was ... that evil was spent with the first contact with u_u London Luton
After reaching there to try to reach the hostel out of Luton but had to catch a bus that took you to Luton Parkway where you could take the train to St. Pancras International and there and then take the underground (Piccadilly line stop Gloucester road). The truth is that it was somewhat messy and expensive addition to that we took the cheapo XD
train ticket out of the metro I discovered that we had a Tesco Metro in front and a Burger King and Starbucks. The Tesco are some combinis 7eleven style and stuff but cheaper. Later we would fan of this Tesco XD
comment that this was our first contact with British streets and it was a bit confusing / dangerous that crossing over the issue of pedestrian crossings that do not exist and the few traffic lights ; forums that there are short-lived and the button that are slow to ignite. Luckily the ground is signposted to where to look before crossing. Anyway, some were trampled to die T_T That fear went through.
Back then, we try to locate in the street but we missed a bit so we just ask to arrive at the hostel but good, was 5 minutes from the metro so we did not have many problems. We paid, we got the room so lucky as the receptionist was talking at breakneck speed and with an English accent of London (later I would hate), none of us we knew that number was. We understood that was 52 but after going up and see that 52 was inhabited ask again. It was the number 54. Finally we
y. .. surprise are 2 bunk beds and 2 single beds with 2 windows but the biggest surprise was discovering that one of the single beds had clothes and a backpack O_O We inform the receptionist, came, made the bed and took the clothes and backpack but the bed that was for me and since that day I became the martyr of the group. I will explain this later on XD
The truth is that the we did this it was almost 7 and we were hungry (we quickly got used to English time XD) and neither had time to do much because the city dies after 6, we went to Burger King and Tesco to buy our food. After acclimatization to the lodge with other guests who, incidentally, had assembled a party in the kitchen overdrive
XD After that we went to sleep a few, which were not speaking. I was sleeping group was ground ...
Day 2: London Eye, Big Ben, Madame Tussauds ....
We got up at 8 because breakfast was 8 to 10. The truth is that I did not sleep well either that night or no. My bed was uncomfortable, I think the springs had gone or something. Furthermore, had the side window and entered the cold over there (I think it was a simple window and did not protect it) and if this were not enough, he tract next to the metro so lucky that I listened wonderfully every time he passed one. My friends at least had no such suffering because I saw for myself that I could hear both in other parts of the room. The thing is that from that day to the same schedule as the trains because every morning I woke up on the 6 train T_T Fortunately it was Sunday so good, apparently the trains started later and less frequently
XD We went down to breakfast a breakfast that seemed to me pretty bad because the milk was bad, the ugly and they had coffee and Nesquik products. At least they had toast, ham, cheese y. .. Nutella! I think these days I eat Nutella and well, also had bananas and every day I had some to eat.
After that we went to see stuff. Us begin by photos in the cabins and see the museums close to the hostel from outside. Then go through Westminster, we passed by several churches whose name escapes me and finally got to the side of the Thames. We saw Big Ben and then went to see the changing of the guard. Quite Many interesting and English on all sides. After
decided to raise the London Eye and the way we pass by the residence of Prime Minister and the Houses of Parliament.
The London Eye is great! This I have to highlight it. Before uploading a video will make you look amazing in 4d! I loved it, with real bubbles, water and snow XD Then we went and we were half an hour taking pictures on the treadmill. What a beautiful view but it was a pity that was not entirely clear but good, but you can not ask the city with the tendency to have bad weather that characterizes it, and more in February. When
completed the course of the London Eye was time to eat. We went to McDonalds along with our healthy food diet XD (Nothing, usually during the entire trip but we ate out cheap fatal XDD). Then at Baker Street, Madame Tussauds we expected.
Baker Street station is beautiful and is characterized by Sherlock Holmes. Too bad not had time to see the Sherlock Holmes Museum Madame Tussauds but it was worth.
The truth is that I already saw the Los Angeles and I was expecting something similar but this is much better, bigger, longer, more varied and more interactive. To highlight the sports section, section of fear of terror with a passage way to the Tibidabo and buggy tour of London taxi shape showing a little history of London. Really recommend it. After us the photos in the museum with the stars of the day and out we went to Harrods.
To me truth is that I thought an English Court to the posh but hey, I'm not a big fan of shopping. What I liked I was inspired by Egyptian Hall where a woman had to live opera singing (or perhaps it was in playback but I thought she sang live in one of the windows) . Back to the hostel
wasting time until We were going to sleep because this city starts to sleep soon. While I was sleeping when the train service ended, very sad what T_T my luck that I took my Ipod to survive ...
Day 4: Museum, Trafalgar Square, Soho and Karaoke.
I think if I had to pick my favorite day of all I was in London would be this.
We got up at the usual hour, had breakfast and went to the museum of nature because we wanted to see the Tyrannosaurus. Here we set into 2 groups, one group was the one who wanted to go shopping in Oxford Street and the other wanted to do other things. I went the other and apart from seeing the whole museum, we also see the science but the truth is that I liked too. Should be more interactive like Barcelona. Then we walked to Trafalgar Square where the British were browning in the sun XD (is that Mr sun mysteriously gave him peek that day XD). Then continue to look at shops across the street to get to Piccadilly Circus, where we stayed with the rest at 1. In addition, Mizuho had also stayed with a Japanese friend I met in LA and was just 2 days I had come to London to study English.
The district of Soho and the streets near Piccadilly are a bane ... T_T full of things Japanese books, magazines, bullshit, food ... I finally bought a magazine, the Duet u_u
At 1 and peak appeared Mizuho though we lost the rest of the group. After making a few calls we meet at a nearby McDonalds where we said goodbye to another group that wanted to go make a quick visit to Notting Hill and we stay to eat at McDonalds and to chat a bit with Mizuho. Aix
japa so cute * __ * It has some cheeks!! And it's so short and cute! Teases above in English and all * o * Anyway, another day I talk more about it XD ~ I still have chronic
At 3 we were near the metro stop karaoke and we will try to locate him. Not too hard so we went and asked for prices and such. We were 7 but the problem was they only had 2 machines Japanese music and were in a room 5 and a 12 so we wanted to charge the price of 12. After a chat with Let's attending the 12-room price of 7 (total gave him more if there was anyone else in the karaoke XD). We were 1 ½ hours and it took 6 pounds. Aix is well we had *___* I did not expect that almost all were so geeks like me karaoke. And I sang a few songs in Japanese. The first was Cherish News (my fault that I misunderstood the Sayaendou the time to put the code XD), then with Mizuho Wish Arashi. She also sang with the Sekai no hitotsu dake no hana SMAP and finally the A whole new world of Aladdin. I remember I sang a song called Breaking more than the law of heavy group do not remember XD but I knew it well, to sing ... and also sang the Oops I Did It Again Britneay Spears. Of course, no micro sang other songs but good. That day I almost lost my voice. It reminded me so very much to japolandia ...
Then we went back to break and we went to Baker Street because there was a cheap souvenir shops and wanted to do my shopping there because until that time had not bought any souvenirs. Finally touched
Mizuho say goodbye T_T That gave me little pain but hey, I said one day visit to Barcelona oo vendríaa
Day 5: Homecoming
We had to leave the house before 10 am and our flight was at 14:30 so at 9:30 and were on our way to St. Pancras International because as it takes a lot to come from underground + Train + bus ... Upon arriving at St. Pancras get us to understand the selling of tickets to sell us a slow and Cheap XD Well, the way to the airport. We arrived at 11:30 past so nothing, to die of disgust for the airport shops ~
control luggage at the airport in London is very severe. I only let through one piece of hand luggage and liquids were transparent plastic bag. And the guards that are around there are some giant machine guns, scary T_T
little more to tell about this day. I got to sleep a little while to stretch the legs also avióny I caught XD exit
Other
Let's see me in general I liked the city enough and I do not mind coming back and see the things I have missed. And that which at first was not a city I really want to visit. Too bad the weather was so bad (and I have continued to Barcelona T_T).
is also shocking to see the amount of English that is out there. Almost I heard more than English speaking Castilian O_O
One of the things that cost me is to understand them. We're supposed to teach English in Spain with a British accent but I honestly I learn much better with American accent. It took me come to understand ... Although it may be that my English has deteriorated.
I guess I'll be left to explain things but if I remember something else and I'll complete them.
to the next entry;)
